kinda seems like a buffer like how videos work. it loads a certain amount, then needs to buffer. maybe allow the computer to use more memory/ram on the game, and close background stuff if anything's open.

First of all, its probably got something with the rendering of the game to do, try to lower the graphics and turn off background tasks youre not using. Also, try to not have so many objects spawned at once, it *will* lag your game and computer. Secondly, how'd this get in my recommended?

Easy fix. Use a different SD card brand. I used SanDisk microSD it fixed it, but when I used a Samsung Evo micro SD card or would shut off

Did you get a replacement that fast? Or is that a different camera? I received my replacement GoPro. So far, so good......

OK Ive ruled out the SD card as the issue - ive tried it with an alternate card (a 65GB sandisk extreme) and also with no card in it and its all the same after being left for more than 20 minutes or so i get multiple boots at switch on

There have been a number of reports about issues with the Hero 8. I had to return mine, I'm waiting for a RMA replacement. If you bought it locally and can exchange it I would do that ASAP. Replacements from GoPro are very slow in coming right now.

I've got the same problem with my 128GB SanDisk card (Extreme and recomended for 4K). I sent the cam back and recieved a new one today. The probelem might be at the microSD card. I'm gonna mail ThieEye again and ask thrm for cards working good with this cam and add ut to my commend, so other ones of you don't have that much unnecessary stress. Have a good day!
